With much gratitude to all and a knowingness that all is well. Kindness, compassion and love for one another and our planet is why I’m here.
I believe in One Loving God with many names.
I believe that being honest with myself and others is necessary to coexist.
I believe that our Planet is crying out in angst.
I believe that prayer and meditation are essential to our well being.
I believe writing, walking, prayer and meditation are important to my being every day.
Each morning I exercise Yoga, followed by three daily meditation daily readers and then, I write – sometimes a poem, sometimes just a reflection or draw a bit in my journal. I listen to the waterfall outside of my window and give thanks for another day. In the evening, I practice Secrets of Natural Walking for a good night’s sleep and wake up refreshed and ready for another day.
It matters a great deal. If I can’t get in touch with gratitude – I’m lost. I’ve lost connection with God and my self. It is like a life ring. I am very grateful to be conscious of what’s around me and what I have or can do for others, what God has provided for me and for us. It’s up to me to notice it, name it and appreciate it, what or whom. xo
Lovely…thank you ?
I’m waiting on lots of things right now. A new job. Healing from a prescribed medication. To stop and say Wow, I am grateful. I felt an inner shift toward lightness and joy.
I’ve been sick for weeks…tired, zero energy, frustrated with waiting. This is fragility. Resilience is knowing this too will pass and Faith in God will guide me to where I need to be. ?
Creating something beautiful with photography, written words, a mixture of both as in a collage. Art! So does nature, a walk in the woods, a swim in the ocean, the smile of a child.
Bed and bow
Up and down
Wind and leaves
Clouds and raine
Peace be and be
I love this practice of brief bits of words that allow me to express myself, or create a scene. I’ve really enjoyed reading others words and art in all its forms. Thank you everyone. ?
Thank you Kristi and Gratefulness Staff and Community… I’m grateful for breath, trees. Grandson, my children, Alicia and Richard..my husband Steve, the mountains that surround me. Grateful to God, Jesus, my beloved friend and brother. ????
Pond gurgles outside my window
Weed-wacker wacks the edge of the long green grass
sunlight shines on the fresh red maple leaves
dawn has arrived
rises from the river
dancing in the atmosphere
I enjoy my drive along the rivers edge.. the sunlight dances on the water and the mist from the river rises to meet the day.
Climate changing- earth blessings.
Kristin… I really felt this ?
In a whirlwind of my own
passenger of life
This is a fantastic question. I had a very interesting dream about my last day on earth. I spent it in quiet reverence most of the daylight hours enjoying every flower, cloud. Tree, bird, texture, color, sound in nature. Before sunset, friends and family gathered to share my last hours here on earth with a potluck. It was clear to everyone I was leaving soon. Some brought cards, others hugs and farewells. I longed to see one last sunset before I was gone. This was a good way to say thank...

So true Sheila ? this is a big gift to you and the world ??
Dusty, I, too will turn 60 this year and initially have been excited about this, and hope to return to this place. Happy 60th!
Thank you Antoinette ??
I love Italy . Verona and the fragrant smell of jasmine, cappuccino , fresh bread and homemade pasta with thinly sliced eggplant and fresh parmeseano…. followed by a bit of dark chocolate… walking through a field of sunflowers to watch the sunset and the full moon rise. Ahhhhh ♥️
