Grateful member of Gratefulness.org
Being in a community of people who share their experience, strength and hope reminds me of my humanity. Asks of me to show up and participate, to serve and share my experience, strength and hope. In a variety of different communities, I give what I can give, love, listen and learn. Feeling supported in my communities helps me to accept myself where I am – imperfections and all. Grateful to be human. Grateful for choices.
It allows ‘collective’ voices to share in each others joys and sorrows. It’s a wonderful gift to know someone is keeping me in prayer, and I believe those in my community are comforted by my prayers for them. Praying for those here in the Gratefulness.org community to have a day of peace.
Pond gurgles outside my window
Weed-wacker wacks the edge of the long green grass
sunlight shines on the fresh red maple leaves
dawn has arrived
rises from the river
dancing in the atmosphere
I enjoy my drive along the rivers edge.. the sunlight dances on the water and the mist from the river rises to meet the day.
Climate changing- earth blessings.
Great question. We’re all so different, yet the same. Each one of us has something to learn from another. The how is a decision to listen and learn. To open to love.
Kristin… I really felt this 💗
In a whirlwind of my own
passenger of life
My friend and mentor, Diana. Qualities – acceptance, loving, honest, true healer and embodiment of love unconditional.
Who? A fellow from another state, race, a true brother who telephones me just when I need an encouraging word. I am so grateful for him and his support and prayers.
Reciprocal Love and Light
How can I contribute?
With an open heart and arms
With trust that in ALL things the God of my Heart will be there
to share this knowingness, love and peace with others
even in times of darkness
and to let others light shine for me when my light grows dim
Early morning. Before anyone else is awake and before the sun illuminates the back yard. The heart and home are quiet. In the silence, I hear the whisper within and our hearts connect in love and strength. As the sun begins to shine, so do the birds begin to sing and I am grateful for another beautiful day to begin. xo
This is a fantastic question. I had a very interesting dream about my last day on earth. I spent it in quiet reverence most of the daylight hours enjoying every flower, cloud. Tree, bird, texture, color, sound in nature. Before sunset, friends and family gathered to share my last hours here on earth with a potluck. It was clear to everyone I was leaving soon. Some brought cards, others hugs and farewells. I longed to see one last sunset before I was gone. This was a good way to say thank...

Thank you Jeana. I, too, feel connected with many here over the past few years. Some years ago I lived in Bavaria, and Gruss Gott means ‘Greetings to the God within you’. I thought you might appreciate this as with Namaste. Shalom. Anita
Me too Bob!
Carla – thanks for the ‘reality check’ – the best I can do varies from day to day….
I’ve asked myself this also Sparrow. I don’t know.
I love Italy . Verona and the fragrant smell of jasmine, cappuccino , fresh bread and homemade pasta with thinly sliced eggplant and fresh parmeseano…. followed by a bit of dark chocolate… walking through a field of sunflowers to watch the sunset and the full moon rise. Ahhhhh ♥️
