Smudging with Palo Santo incense and reading/writing poetry. Love this one from Denise Levertov The Avowal As swimmers dare to lie face to the sky and water bears them, as hawks rest upon air and air sustains them, so would I learn to attain freewill, and float into Creator Spirit’s deep embrace, knowing no effort earns that all-surrounding grace.
Silence while still in community is a rare experience; we so often can drown each other out with our need to be heard. I like the idea of the Quaker practice.
