poured with generosity
Words filling in the embarrasing silence,
We’re on a holidays trip.
My husband is outgoing, while I’m introvert.
I’m at ease with silence if I feel I have nothing to share. My husband likes saying something provocative, to see people reactions, to avoid silence & boredoom. I felt embarrassed by the things he said today. I know silence embarrass many people as well.
Clouds in silver and blue.
Clouds coloring moonlight
Moonlight lent by the sun
dome of stars
under it, a small round tent
lit from within
— Ruth Yarrow
I’m drawn by this haiku because it reminds me of my first night un the mountains and its breathtaking sky
Reading it I also experience the insignificance of the tent light under the dome of stars… the insignificance of our sorrows in the magnificience of the universe
