Gratefulness
Love your poem. Poetry reaches a place nothing else does.

Sorry. I did a copy and paste and it worked. Maybe try that.
We have two petunias that have put down their roots in very unlikely places. I wanted to put a picture of them here for you but I don’t see how to do it or maybe the site doesn’t allow it. One is through stones at the foot of our mailbox and the other is at the edge of a sewer grate between the grate and the road where .there seems to be no soil at all. . Beauty can be in unlikely places
Practice patience and peace.
Thank you for the lovely and wise thought.
This is beautiful, a simple thing that could be used in smaller hospitals all over. Several posts have mentioned taking care of ourselves so we can take care of others. Music can be a part of self care. Thank you Kevin for describing this scene for us.
I like the making peace part of your comment. I am 72 and my husband is 82. By this age, we have done some good and caused some hurt but perhaps these later years are the peace making time. I do love that we can still do acts of kindness. I really make an effort to thank strangers that help me and compliment them when I see them giving help to others.
Thank you for this. I love that it comes from your own heart.
