Gratefulness
I hope to be able to travel again and visit my family. My brother bought a cabin a year ago and I would love to see it. I want to go to my favorite October camping state park. In almost 52 yrs I’ve never been to Cape May, NJ – been to Ocean City, Wildwood, Atlantic City, Beechhaven, but not there. Yes, definitely longing to travel again.
What motivates me to continue deepening and expanding my experience of life is that I want to experience new things, travel, and make new memories.
Peace, Corona free, love and kindness, Eco friendly, no hatred. I took steps to realize these visions by voting for the new President elect. I feel sorry for him and the mess he has to start with to make things better. Happy MLK Day everyone.
The person I replaced at my work when I was hired passed away a few days ago. The amount of emails reflecting what type of person she was, long term employee, her character, and some fun stories, was a beautiful act of kindness to see. The loyalty to someone who no longer worked there remained. I definitely have from the start felt like this company is a family.
I just went outback and gathered what was in my backyard. Here’s my Earth Altar
I have to say my job is bringing my life meaning right now. I just celebrated my 90 days – it’s going by fast. I’m really enjoying it and feel like this is where I’m meant to be. Finally:) Donate Life!
I had recently collaborated with family members to do a Zoom meeting during the holidays. It went well and everyone was glad we did that as a family. My one side has zoomed weekly for months, the other side we’ve done it twice. Time for a new email:) Happy Friday ya’ll:)
Curiosity invites something new for me to learn. This is a nice reminder to pick up a book I had started awhile back. Trying new things because of curiosity can be helpful in discovering a new hobby, or your hearts’ true desire.
I cultivate gratefulness within myself by participating on this site daily. I let my family and friends know I care by making sure to communicate and let them know how much I love them.
lol carriages/carts/buggies so interesting what people from different areas call them:)
What a beautiful memory for you although it is a shame there was a sad twist to the end of it ‘filled with hateful lonely people’. Pretty damn powerful for living there 6 wks.
I read the earth altar piece and created one myself yesterday. I’m not a creative person at all, and on a whim, went in my backyard and just did it. Was fun.
Prayers for you to find relief from your aggressive skin allergies.
Your reflection reminded me of my Nanny – sitting by her side as she would knit. My other grandmother would crochet. Hopefully the newer generation takes up these older hobbies.
So exciting!
Did you guys feel like the Brady Bunch too, lol 🙂
As someone new in the Tissue Bank industry I can relate to learning what fascia is:) I remember doing rug hooking as a young child.
peace and calming energy to you:)
I still remember #2 the day you wrote it. powerful. Great examples Carol.
