I am working on becoming more grateful and mindful.
I am much more gentle to myself and others when I live in a grateful mindset.
Being with my sweet dog, Schubert when he passed while laying in the crook of my belly. I still miss him!
Awareness is the first step in changing any behavior!
I SO needed to be reminded that it usually not about “me” and more importantly, I don’t have to join in. But, still hard to remember in the heat of the moment when I’m “triggered”.
I have to admit I was a bit surprised to see this as a response because, frankly, I’ve been on that path for awhile now. It is amazing how freeing it is and yet I’ve not walked away from the faith, just realizing that the saying that the path is narrow means that few people truly work hard enough to get to that spot.
