Warmly, Ose 1 Reply Alicia1 month agoAliciaOse, I am saddened for you for the loss of your chosen mother. I will pray for her , of course. I will also include you and all who were so deeply touched by her. Love, Alicia 2 Reply Cheryle2 months agoCheryleDear Ose, May the peace that passes all understanding cocoon you as you gently and lovingly let go of the earthly physicality of your beloved chosen mother. May you find deep solace in the legacy, (of her spiritual gifts) she left, to those, (you) who were touched by her beautiful life. Blessings ♥️🙏 She is remembered in my prayers. 2 Reply Mike S2 months agoMike SBeyond the sorrow, Ose, as I read about your chosen mother and her great love, openness and compsssion, it builds my faith to know if a particular such person and that so many like her in all corners if the world go quietly, humbly about God’s business keeping the lights on in hearts and minds, 3 Reply Anna2 months agoAnnaDear Ose, I’m so sorry, you have a great burden on your shoulders. A great pain, as great as your deep love for your beloved chosen mother. I look at Rembrandt’s picture, how much tenderness … kindness, wisdom … and each of these good virtues were also passed from your chosen mother to you. I pray for her and for you. May the love of God spread abundant peace in your heart, dear friend. May the tranquility of winter give you the rest you need. 3 Reply Pilgrim2 months agoPilgrimDear Ose, I am so very sorry for your loss. I have known over all the time we have both been here just how much your chosen mother has meant to you and been essential in your life, and deep in your heart. You have experienced much loss in this year, dear friend. Know that you are encircled by many hearts of caring and words of prayer. I looked up this Rembrandt painting ... how beautiful, and a work that speaks beautifully of your beloved chosen mother. I do indeed have something major to be thankful in 2020. Jesus healed me of depression /anxiety in March of 2020. I was considered treatment resistant. But by day and night praying, reading scripture …suddenly I felt peace, joy and love like never before. I am forever grateful to God ! 5 Reply Anna2 months agoAnnaThank you Annie, this evening I sang “Te Deum laudamus”, at the Mass. it is an ancient thanksgiving hymn. It is not easy to give thanks for the past 2020. But we can find something good, and for this, I post a prayer for a new day, here above, written by Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German theologian. 5 Reply Pilgrim2 months agoPilgrimThank you, Annie, for your encouraging words. May you and yours be well. And thank you for the joyful artwork! 3 Reply Anna2 months agoAnnaThanks again Diane, for mentioning my father and Ursula. I am definitely in heaven and since both Ursula and my father loved walking in the mountains, our Alps, they are now definitely walking the heavenly mountains, finding heavenly mushrooms and singing sacred hymns! this is what my imagination suggests to me. 2 Reply Anna2 months agoAnnaDear Annie, a good idea! I shoveled in the morning so when I finished I cooked for noon! But I definitely enjoyed a cup of hot tea after a nice warm bath. Maybe tomorrow it will snow again. I have a tasty cocoa powder in my pantry!!! 1 Reply Anna2 months agoAnnaDearest Diane, thank you for your "blessings", I really need them. I remember that your grandmother was from Parma, I love Parma and the surrounding places, the beautiful hills with fabulous castles and medieval villages. Bedonia is right there, not far from the sea, not far from the city, and at the same time in a awsome landscape of woods. Mushrooms....special food... "prosciutto"!!! Skiing is banned this year, as it is difficult to maintain social distances near ski lifts and inside mountain huts. We hope so much in the spread of the vaccine, dear Diane!
