Gratefulness
On July 25, 2016 we gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of Br. David Steindl-Rast. Thanks to the Fetzer Institute, we are delighted to share here videos of the entire event:
Br. David Steindl-Rast answers questions from some of his “next generation friends,” Diane Musho Hamilton, Soren Gordhamer, Nipun Mehta and Dr. Robert Emmons. Kristi Nelson, Executive Director of A Network for Grateful Living (ANGL) hosts; Gillian Gonda from Fetzer speaks and Mary Kostel, ANGL Board president welcomes everyone.

At the evening celebration of Br. David’s Life and Legacy, we hear from A Network for Grateful Living’s Board Vice-President, Chuck Roppel; Executive Director, Kristi Nelson; Margaret Wakeley with a biography of Br. David with archival photos; Rob Cox, the director of Br. David’s archives at UMass; tributes from Dale Biron, Anthony Chavez, Mirjam Luthe-Alvez, Alberto Rizzo, and Gary Fiedel; Michael Lerner and Jack Kornfield, and video tributes from friends world-over.

I’m so moved by the power of a life well lived. This site is evidence of the ripples from that life and is reminder to touch and be touched by life. Thank you Br. David and thank you Gratefulness.org around the globe! God Bless.
listening once more to these videos and really feel so blessed to be a member of gratefulness.! To actually think that one has been able to at least read, and listen to Brother David, and his great wisdom and receive the inspiration of his words!. God be with him and all of the guests above and thank you, to all of our Board and Officers of our website. We can thank God for each one.
