A Network for Grateful Living (gratefulness.org) is a global non-profit organization offering online and community-based educational programs, practices, and content which inspire and guide a commitment to grateful living, and catalyze the transformative power of personal/social responsibility. We believe that grateful living supports our ability to see wonder and opportunity in every moment, and motivates us to act boldly with love, generosity, and respect towards one another, ourselves, and the Earth.
We are a virtual organization founded in 2000 by Br. David Steindl-Rast and friends. We serve approximately 100,000 unique website visitors per month, and we are growing. Our team currently has six staff residing in New York, Indiana, New Mexico, and Massachusetts, and a small office in Hadley, MA. Our Board of Directors resides throughout the United States and is highly engaged.
A Network for Grateful Living is seeking a Content Strategist to be part of its team. The Content Strategist will shape a meaningful, engaging digital experience of Grateful Living for our growing global community.
The Content Strategist is vital in constructing a cohesive content strategy with a focus on user journeys and digital experience development for all organizational stakeholders. Working with a small, collaborative team, this person will also plan, oversee, and execute the strategy on multiple channels. Supported by a deep library of internal resources and external content partnerships, the content strategist will be responsible for developing a content strategy that aligns our brand narrative and the organization’s mission and strategic objectives. The content strategist will also play the role of a creative and an editor, as this person conceptualizes, curates, and produces content assets* that resonate with stakeholders across earned, owned, and paid platforms, with the aim of driving broadened exposure and adoption of Grateful Living.
*Short-form copywriting including, but not limited to: social media, newsletter and website content introductions.

Reports to Director of Digital Engagement
Starting Salary: $58,000 – $65,000
Paid Time Off Package
The qualified candidate must have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a virtual team, and be comfortable with tracking work time, activities, and outcomes. Salary commensurate with experience.
