By taking my time, my pace, taking some time just for myself.
I can compound better with my energy and feelings, and I feel my kids need my patience.

I have helped many friends and family onto better paths in life when they were struggling. I feel like it is a way of paying it forward. People helped me when I have struggling at times and I am truly grateful. Right now I am encouraging one of my daughter’s friends. He told me he is interested in pursuing a career in medicine possibly at EMT. He is a disabled VET and feels like he needs a purpose. He certainly does and I am glad he told me.

Recently, a joint venture together with dear friends took place. Still deeply grateful for having been allowed together with some friends to be of service and guiding through he 24 h tangario as well as being part of meeting with the dear ones who came in. All night through, dear people would come and go for a sequency or two or even more of meditating together, or were looking to relax and join in with the ones present for some still moments. It was a meeting and sharing in gratefulness of many who took part, allowing even to enter into stillness while much sound around could have distracted but was not, astonishingly. It was a gift of sorts to be together as such. Echoing Devy, listening deeply to what might be good to be expressed can be of service to others also. Wishing all a beautiful and relaxing Sunday evening.

Sharing my thoughts of positivity and gratitude with others. Provide a listening ear and a hug to those who need it.

I choose a organization that helps others monthly to make a modest donation to their cause. It’s a different organization each month but by being committed to make the donation monthly, it gets done. Many times what another needs is a sounding board, someone to listen. Also, something as simple as a smile can lift another. Thich Nhat Hanh says that a smile is the simplest form of meditation.

This new week brings new blessings for each one of us…healing for our struggles, peace, hope, relief and joy. May God will this for us. May it go well and be well. May we be and do our best. With gratefulness for God’s many blessings, I pray this is His plan for us. “Amen”

I heard in my moment of stillness the saying that charity begins at home. And to follow the Golden rule

I give where & what I can. I usually donate food to local soup kitchens.
I give out silent blessings to those who cross my path & pray for many others, some I know, some I do not. I pray for the sick, the hurt, the grieving, the sad, the lost ones. So often we feel helpless because the needs are so big and I/we feel at a loss of what to do. I decided a bit ago I can pray. I can offer up prayers for all those who are struggling, hurting etc. So I pray.
I believe in the power of prayer.🙏🏻✨☕️❤️

I have made a difference for folks in need of my labor be it seasonal work with livestock, haying or helping move elderly parents of friends. Our home is always open and welcoming to anyone that happens to accompany a relative or friends of our children for a meal and warmth. Sometimes all that needs to be is a smile for a stranger.

I get the idea that anything we have might be needed more by others in need. But oftentimes people don’t need “stuff,” they need money, or funding sources, that can target more directly what they might need over a longer period of time. That’s why my wife and I choose carefully the organizations we support, and which ones we do not.
