Top of the morning to everyone**** The sun is rising with colors that mere words cannot describe. May this day be filled with gratitude and loving kindness in all that we experience. Even the challenging moments
Peace in Light
I want to share this thought from A Course in Miracles perpetual calendar.
“Build community. Nurture those less fortunate. Become yourself. Seek God. No less potent steps than these will be deep enough to move you forward.”
Sending kind thoughts to everyone.
Peace in Light
I awoke to 3 inches of snow and am thankful for the extra moisture and cold. I knew I had to shovel and clear a path for my little dog and feed the birds. After one more cup of tea I went out and it felt so good! My senses became more alive as I watched the chickadees and finches at the feeder, busy chirping and fluttering in the snow laden tree. I know that I am on the right path teaching nature journaling. Often I think I have nothing to offer and that others are not interested in my work but then I have a moment like this morning, feeling totally alive and in line with a higher purpose and my higher self. I am grateful to recognize this today. I’ve had a very productive day preparing for the next class which is in April.
Blessings abound in love peace and kindness
Beautiful* Thank you Diane.
Alicia you wise to know that you and your husband are never alone, even in those times that you feel as if you are* Peace to you both. I’m so grateful to be in the gratitude lounge with everyone and when I light the evening candles before sleep I say a prayer for us all.
May Peace, Kindness, Compassion Love surround us
Hi Mary, thank you for sharing. Ah the moment just as it is. That’s what we all strive for but our human-ness gets in the way. I retired last year from education and was left asking who am I? I’m not the job etc…Does that make sense? The past few months something has happened. It’s like a zest of life I have never known. An acceptance of how life has been; the joys and heartaches and all the rest that has brought me here. As I reflect I find how grateful I am to be here today and writing with others in our gratitude lounge relaxed with tea and friends 🙂
Peace in Light
I too have experienced those migraines! And you’re right when they are gone it’s as if we have stepped into a new place. I have often wondered if illness doesn’t give us a new perspective on life,,a shift if you will to a higher place within ourselves. Perhaps giving us the opportunity to fly to our higher self? Just my thoughts. Thanks for letting me share.
Have a restful evening.
Welcome Janica. I’ve been here a couple of weeks and a part of the gratefulness site for many years. It’s really wonderful in these challenging times to have a calm caring kind compassionate loving place to visit and to meet others as we journey forward. I am thankful.
Peace in Light
Thank you for the beautiful photo and serene thoughts. A memory of walking along the shore has me feeling sand between my toes. Peace in Light and Kindness****
Thanks for introducing me to bee therapy. Very informative. Have a wonderful day one moment at a time***
The natural world knows the secret of being and living. If it becomes full of dis-ease it pulls on the wisdom of source; grows sometimes dies rebuilds. I urge others to find the plant, stone, tree whatever that truly resonates with them and to pull on that when life becomes challenging.
Lots of sunshine today and I’m cleaning out the strawberry bed. Blessings**
Can you tell me about bee therapy? I am enjoying tai chi practice at our local hospital. Balance is so important and as I get older I want to be more aware, move with intent and look ahead not down at my feet 🙂 I am so grateful for all life has given and continues to give.
Thank you Manda. It’s been a wonderful day and I hope the same is true for you. Cold but sun and that is always good as spring approaches. The roots are surely wiggling now!!
Peace in Light
I am happy to meet everyone. Peace in Light
Diane thanks for your insights on NDD. Yes, it’s very real indeed. I’m new to the gratitude lounge and am enjoying it very much. I intend to have many heart lifting conversations as we all journey through these times together. It takes a village to thrive. I am fascinated by the ways the blackbirds fly cooperatively together. One turns they all turn! I love that. Every day nature gives us the ability to heal, to soar and to live fully. Peace
Aine, I refer to the practice of nature journaling as awakening the quiet within. It’s achieved by associating with and living closer to earths natural rhythms and patterns. Think of a sunflower that seems to turn with the sun even when the clouds are heavy; the aroma of desert sage reminding us to remember and honor our ancestors; the loblolly pine seed laying dormant for 100 years before sprouting. I believe the time has come for us to re-connect with sacred Earth energy so as to become a healthier people during these challenging times. I’m grateful for this site to be able to share. Our world our hearts connect
And I am seeing that 60-80 statement to be true first hand! haha Life has never looked so promising. As I reflect on all the years gone past I feel as if I’ve been asleep. We rebuild ourselves every moment.
Grateful to be here now** Peace
